Montepulciano grape jam (225g of fruit in 100g of jam), citric acid, sugar and fruit pectin. Semi-fluid texture, dark purplish colour, sweet flavour with a slightly tart finish with a tangy note. Called “scrucchiata” in the local dialect, this is the main ingredient for “cagiunitt”, traditional Abruzzo pastries whose thin, sweet, fragrant dough enfolds a really delicious filling. An extra hint of tasty sweetness with a tart note for Atri pecorino ripened in hay or bran. The aroma and hint of herbs and hay blend with the tangy grape notes and leave a sweet, mouthfilling sensation.
